Everything Aaron Funk does as Venetian Snares is intense. That's the only word to describe the sound, intense. Drill 'n' bass at it's finest (think Aphex Twin, certain Squarepusher albums, Amon Tobin), every Venetian Snares album is composed of blisteringly fast breakbeats that have been sliced and diced into mind melting sounds, mixed with samples and harsh melodies (if you can call them melodies).
