Lord of the Rings Trilogy OSTs

Ah, the official soundtracks (OSTs) of the epic, beautiful, masterpieces that are the Lord of the Rings films. The same can be said about the OSTs and the books themselves. The music brings back memories of kings, epic battles, and the long journey, when you don't have a chance to re-watch the movies. They are among my favorite soundtracks, and quite possibly the most epic and intense of them. Highly recommended that you download these, it provides an experience that can only be matched by actually watching the films.

Kronos Quartet - Kronos Quartet Plays Sallien, Glass, Sculthorpe, Hendrix, Nancarrow

The title of this album should give away the surprise that awaits. Covers of those distinctly different artists all on one album? The Kronos Quartet is know for such diversity and talent. Definitely worth a listen.

The Knack - Get the Knack

Everybody's heard the Knack whether they realize it or not. If you've heard that insanely catchy "My Sharona" you've heard the Knack. This new wave debut has been called an attempt to make the Beatles new wave, that doesn't sound bad, and neither does this pop gem.

Bob Log III

Bob Log III is quite a character. A one man blues-rock punk band with his right foot on the bass drum, left foot on the hi-hat and his hands playing slide guitar. Pass for all files is: flipyourwig

Alfred Brendel - Beethoven: Piano Sonatas

Alfred Brendel has an astounding body of work, and an astounding talent to match. He is one of the best pianists I have heard, and this is a fantastic example of what he does.
The sonatas on this one are:
Sonata No. 14 in C# Minor
Sonata No. 8 in C Minor
Sonata No. 23 in F Minor
Sonata No. 26 E flat Major

The Methadones first three albums.

A great pop-punk band whose name says it all. (Google is your friend if you don't get what I mean).

They Might Be Giants - They Might Be Giants

Eponymous debut from They Might Be Giants. A mix of new wave pop, post-punk, and some all around quirkiness, this album is a good time from start to finish.
